The following days 11, 12 and 13^th of May ITeC will organize the “Lean Barcelona 2016: The Last Planner System” a training day, a conference and a workshop on collaborative planning (Last Planner System), promoted by Bimetric and The Change Business. The sessions will take place in Palau Macaya, a modernist building from 1901 designed by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, equipped nowadays with a modern auditorium and other optimised spaces.

Aimed at all those decision-makers determining the course of the construction industry, the purpose of these sessions is to explain the elements of Last Planner, to present and have a critical discussion of examples of its application in Spain, USA and elsewhere in Europe and to present ideas to senior leaders who want to get the most out of Last Planner on their projects.

The sessions will be in English and Spanish and a simultaneous translation service will be provided.

Training day – Introduction to Last Planner System
Wednesday, May 11th 2016
This training will help you to learn about the Last Planner System being used by design & construction companies to improve the way work is done. This learning will be built around practical simulations to give you hands-on experience of this new way of working.

This one-day Conference will bring together Spanish, European and international experts to talk about the application of the last Planner System during the design and construction phases.

Workshop – Managing Last Planner managed projects
Friday, May 13th 2016
In this half-day workshop we will talk about how senior leaders need to behave to get the most out of projects using Last Planner. Group simulations and exercises will be used to help the participants better understand what their teams are doing and how to best support them as their leaders.
