This documentation includes almost all the tests that can be used in the different types of works that Infraestructures.cat manages (Building: new work and rehabilitation; Civil works: roads and transport; and Hydraulic works: irrigation and rural roads) and s ‘associate by default those contemplated in the current regulations.

Like any other database, it must be understood as a general reference, which requires its own particularization in each case. Therefore, it is the technicians responsible for the establishment of the quality control plan or program who must adapt the information from the aforementioned bank to the specificity of the work, while modifying it the control criteria (adding or removing tests, varying the control frequencies, etc.).

Quality criteria banks include:

• Criteria for testing frequencies
• Association work items – areas of control
• Specifications (extracted from the technical specifications or corresponding regulations)
• The prices of the essays include 13% in terms of general expenses, and 6% in terms of industrial profit; therefore, special attention should be paid when setting up the last sheet of the QC budget, as only 21% VAT will need to be applied.

What’s new in the new Criteria Banks:

The new features of the Building quality control criteria bank are detailed below

• The association of work items – areas of control has been updated, including the new items introduced in the reference price banks of Infraestructures.cat Building, Rehabilitation and Urbanization 2014.
• The criteria for the formation of concrete batches have been modified in accordance with the ruling of 09/27/2012 which annuls the seventh and eighth paragraphs of article 81 and annex 19 of EHE-08.

The new features of the Civil Works quality control criteria bank are detailed below

• The association of work items – areas of control has been updated, including the new items introduced in the reference price banks of Infraestructures.cat Civil Works 2014. Including the specific items of transport.
• The criteria for the formation of concrete batches have been modified in accordance with the ruling of 09/27/2012 which annuls the seventh and eighth paragraphs of article 81 and annex 19 of EHE-08.
• The control criteria referring to EAE-11 have been updated.
• The criteria, of frequencies and tests, have been updated, with the indications of the construction management, in order to adjust them as much as possible to the real needs of this type of work.
• The control criteria for railway facilities have been revised and modified.

Details of the new features of the Hydraulic Works quality control criteria bank are detailed below

• The association of work items – control areas has been updated, including the new items introduced in the reference price banks of Infraestructures.cat Obres hydràuliques 2014.
• The control criteria referring to EAE-11 have been updated.
• The degree of requirement of the frequency conditioning has been implemented (o-obligatory, e-requirable, v-voluntary).
• It has been adapted to the criteria established in the document “PLP-48v00 Criteria for the development of quality control in the works of Infraestructures.cat – Hydraulic works”.
