The Euroconstruct report published in November concluded that 2022 was going to be a good year for the European construction sector: it did not foresee exceptional growth, but the global production figures were headed for record levels in 11 of the 19 countries analysed. Such potential gives rise to the hope that some of this positive momentum can still be harnessed, allowing some markets to weather the disruption caused by the war in Ukraine. The new forecast that will be presented at the Euroconstruct conference in June will show how deep the changes will be for the construction sector in each country.
