The construction sector is one of the main drivers of the world economy. However, it evolves at a very slow pace.
The term ConTech, short for Construction Technology, refers to technology applied to construction. It is a key element for both startups and more established companies in this sector to support the transition to a more digital, productive and sustainable model.
ITeC, the consultancy specialized in innovation Active Development and the ConTech platform of The Building Squad Ventures have come together to create the Barcelona ConTech Hub, whose mission is to promote , promote and accelerate innovation in the construction industry.
The Hub will be a meeting point to connect startups, companies, corporates, R+D+i centers, professional colleges, associations, training centers, universities, investors and, in general, all those organizations in the sector that are innovating or intend to do so through digitalisation, artificial intelligence, industrialisation, circularity or other advances.
There are different ways to be part of the Hub and be able to benefit from all the services: participate in the construtech and PropTech environment, connect with the tech ecosystem, get to know first-hand the most innovative proposals and learn how to apply them successfully …
The project will be presented next January 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the ITeC headquarters (C/ de Wellington, 19, 08018 Barcelona).
