The company ACTIS SA has obtained the DAU 25/158 for its insulating product Hybris 31, intended for thermal insulation in buildings.

HYBRIS 31 by ACTIS is a thermal-acoustic insulator with low-emissivity components that reflect radiant heat, which is presented in the form of panels with thicknesses from 50 mm to 250 mm, which lead to thermal resistances of the product of between 1.60 m²· K/W at 8.05 m²· K/W.

HYBRIS 31 has ETA 22/0237 (European Technical Assessment) and the corresponding CE marking in accordance with EAD 040007-00-1201. The DAU provides, in addition to the content of this ETA, the design and execution criteria, the construction solutions and the relevant conditions that must be observed for the technical suitability of the product on site with respect to the Spanish building regulations (CTE).

The thermal insulation properties of the HYBRIS 31 product are given by its low conductivity (0.031 W/m·K) and by the presence of two low-emissivity reflective external surfaces, together with the presence of several internal layers of polyethylene foam interspersed with sheets of aluminized polyethylene, also of low emissivity, forming a structure of triangular “honeycomb” type cells.

HYBRIS 31 is used in chambers and façade extradoses, walkable and non-passable flat roofs (inside), sloping roofs (inside or outside), slabs (non-habitable attics), raised floors and false ceilings, provided that the product is not exposed to the elements, water, or compressive loads.

When the product is installed with one or two non-ventilated air chambers adjacent to it, the reflective outer faces of the product confer thermal insulating performance to these air chambers, in addition to the thermal resistance of the product itself.

The DAU evaluates the performance of fire behaviour, hygrothermal behaviour, acoustic insulation, thermal insulation and durability of the product. In addition, the DAU includes the assessment of the environmental impacts of the product, so this DAU adopts the form and category of DAUeco.
