The company COMCAL NATURAL SL has obtained the ETA 25/1081 for its COM-CAL THERMWOOD – Lime & Wood Fiber ETICS system for the external thermal insulation of facades.

COM-CAL THERMWOOD – Lime & Wood Fiber ETICS is an ETICS -external thermal insulation system with rendering-, based on the natural hydraulic lime mortar Com-Cal Adherecal used as adhesive to the substrate and as a base coat, wood fiber thermal insulation panel (WF), mechanical fasteners, base coat reinforcement mesh and lime-based finishing coats. It is intended for application on exterior walls of masonry or concrete, both in new construction and in rehabilitation, contributing to the durability and thermal comfort of the building.

The evaluation has been carried out according to EAD 040083-01-0404 External thermal insulation composite systems with rendering system; the reaction to fire of the product, the contribution to water impermeability, the resistance to impacts, the mechanical capacity against vertical and horizontal loads of the bonded joints and mechanical fasteners, thermal insulation and durability have been evaluated in the ETA.
