JV20 FOREST SL has obtained ETA 25/0585 for its TH CLT panels

The company JV20 FOREST SL has obtained ETA 25/0585 for its cross-laminated timber (CLT) structural panels.
The TH CLT panels are panels made from glued conifer (Pinus sylvestris) boards to form cross-laminated timber (solid wood board panels), consisting of 3 to 5 layers. Adjacent layers are generally placed perpendicular (at 90°) to each other, with the final panel always being symmetrical in its cross-section.
The panel is made from technically dried wood, machine-graded boards and planed surfaces.
TH CLT panels are used as structural or non-structural elements in timber buildings and structures, in service classes 1 and 2 according to EN 1995-1-1.
The panels consist of C24 boards in their outer layers and in the inner layers parallel to the outer ones, and of C16 boards in the inner layers perpendicular to the outer ones.
In the ETA, prepared according to EAD 130005-00-0304 Solid wood element for use as structural element in buildings, the structural performance of the panels is evaluated, as well as their fire behaviour (reaction and fire resistance), in addition to some other additional characteristics (thermal conductivity, water vapor permeability).
