The company CERÁMICAS MIRA has obtained the DAU 24/146 for its Mirabrick V12 Acústico system for non-load-bearing masonry with horizontal joints of 4 mm to 7 mm and 8 mm to 15 mm.

The Mirabrick V12 Acoustic system consists of a non-load-bearing solution for the execution of the main facade and partition wall cladding, designed to resist and transmit wind loads, as well as to support the exterior cladding (SATE systems or ventilated facades). The system has two variants depending on the type of mortar and the thickness of the horizontal joints:

• System with adhesive mortar joints from 4 mm to 7 mm.
• System with ordinary mortar joints from 8 mm to 15 mm.

The Mirabrick V12 Acústico ceramic piece is a lightweight piece of fired clay with vertical perforations and vertical interlocking that allows the execution of dry vertical joints. The piece measures 330 mm long, 115 mm wide and 232 mm high, and weighs 8 kg.

This system has been evaluated in terms of mechanical resistance according to the UNE-EN 1052-1, UNE-EN 1052-2 and UNE-EN 1052-3 standards. Fire resistance, thermal insulation and acoustic insulation properties have also been analyzed.
