The company CERÁMICAS SAZA SA has obtained the DAU 25/154 for its SATERRABRICK system for non-load-bearing walls with mortar horizontal joints between 4 mm and 7 mm.
The SATERRABRICK system is intended for the construction of the main leaf of façade walls and interior partitions. It is designed to resist wind loads and transfer them to the load-bearing structure, as well as to support external cladding systems (such as ETICS or ventilated facades).
SATERRABRICK is a horizontally perforated ceramic unit with interlocking on the bearing face. Its dimensions are 400 mm in length, 115 mm in width, 262 mm in height and it weighs 13,75 kg.
In DAU 25/154, the mechanical performance of the masonry, its fire behaviour, impact resistance, and acoustic and thermal insulation were evaluated.
