The company KERAKOLL IBÉRICA SAU has obtained the ETA 24/0933 for its KLIMAEXPERT system, designed for external thermal insulation of façades.
The KLIMAEXPERT system is an External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) with rendering, based on expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation panels that are bonded to the wall with adhesive and supplementary mechanical fixings. It includes multiple layers of rendering applied on-site, one of which contains a glass fibre reinforcement mesh to ensure stability and mechanical strength.
This system is available in two alternatives: KLIMA AIR and KLIMA AIR BLACK, which differ in the type of EPS panel used, the former being white expanded polystyrene and the latter graphite-enhanced expanded polystyrene to improve thermal insulation performance.
The ETA has been issued in accordance with EAD 040083-00-0404 for ETICS with rendering. This evaluation has analysed aspects such as hygrothermal behaviour, impact resistance, fire reaction, durability, and other essential characteristics for its use on façades.
KLIMAEXPERT is designed for new construction and renovation projects, applicable on masonry or concrete walls.
