The company WOLF GROUP OÜ has obtained the ETA 26/0105, ETA 26/0106 and ETA 26/0107 of its PENOSIL products for linear joint fire sealing.

PENOSIL 2K Fire Rated Foam 282 (ETA 26/105) is a two-component sealant foam. It is a self-adherent, quick-curing, straw-applied foam for in situ application directly into the linear joint without backing material.

PENOSIL Fire Rated Gunfoam B1 187 (which is marketed under three other trade names, indicated in ETA 26/0106) is a one-component sealant foam. It is a self-adherent, ready to use gunfoam for in situ application directly into the linear joint without backing material.

PENOSIL Fire Rated Foam B1 296 (marketed under two other trade names, indicated in ETA 26/0107) is a one-component sealant foam. It is a self-adherent, ready to use, straw-applied foam for in situ application directly into the linear joint without backing material.

The three PENOSIL products can be used to seal horizontal and vertical linear joints in rigid walls, with:

• Wall thickness of 100 mm and minimum density of 550 kg/m³
• Wall thickness of 200 mm and minimum density of 450 kg/m³

Once cured, the sealed linear joint is covered on both sides of the wall with a galvanized steel.

In the ETAs of PENOSIL products, the reaction to fire, fire resistance (for different widths and depths of horizontal and vertical joints in walls), as well as their durability for indoor use conditions (type Z2 in accordance with EAD 350141-00-1106) have been evaluated. As for the resistance to fire, the assessed constructive solution achieves a performance between EI 45 and EI 240 depending on the geometric characteristics of the wall and joint.
