Conference on industrialised housing construction: key to tackling the metropolitan housing crisis
On 4 December 2025, the PEMB and the Industrial Pact are organising the second edition of the conference Industrialised housing construction in the metropolitan region of Barcelona: key factors and financing in La Ciba (Santa Coloma de Gramenet).
The aim is to analyse how this construction model – based on the production of components in the factory and post-site assembly – can speed up construction, reduce costs and improve sustainability.
Ferran Bermejo, Technical Director of ITeC, will participate, at 10:10 a.m., with the presentation “Industrialized construction in Catalonia: leap of scale and new opportunities”, where he will present the challenges and possibilities to consolidate this model in the sector.
