From May 20 to 22, the Gran Via venue of Fira Barcelona will host a new edition of Construmat, the leading construction trade show in Spain.

Within Construmat, the Sustainable Building Congress will be held, an essential forum for knowledge, debate and reflection. Its objective is to give voice to all the efforts and innovations that the construction sector is carrying out to adapt to the challenges of the present.

This year’s program revolves around these three themes: biohabitability and health, social housing and artificial intelligence.

The built environment affects health. Air quality, materials, lighting and noise all influence well-being. However, measuring these impacts in isolation only gives us a partial picture of the problem. This talk will explore how digitalisation and data analytics can help us understand the relationship between the built environment and health.
