On Thursday, February 19, 2026, a delegation of ITeC members was received at the Parlament de Catalunya. During the morning, an institutional presentation session was held to make the work and functions of the ITeC known to the deputies.

His Excellency Mr. Josep Rull i Andreu, President of the Parlament de Catalunya, opened the session and welcomed all those attending. He also stated that he was well acquainted with ITeC from the period in which he served as Minister of Territory and Sustainability, since he attended the plenary sessions of the Board of Trustees given the interest aroused in the activities and projects that were developed there. In addition, he added that the institution was, and continues to be, a benchmark in the matters it addresses.

This was followed by the start of the presentation by Xavier Font Mach, President of the ITeC Foundation, and Francisco Diéguez Lorenzo, General Director of the ITeC. Both presented the mission, the main lines of activity and the future challenges facing ITeC, highlighting its role as a benchmark entity in digitization, sustainability, innovation… and, for some time now, in industrialized construction.

Finally, a stand-up breakfast was held in which members of Parlament and ITeC were able to share ideas and points of view.
