TOOLS: TCQiGMA, life cycle analysis with SimaPro and Ecoinvent
Within the series of conferences organized by Cateb (Barcelona College of Technical Architecture) on environmental information to publicize tools for carrying out product life cycle analysis, on May 15, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m., a session dedicated to TCQi GMA will take place.
Licinio Alfaro, Head of Sustainable Construction at ITeC, will introduce participants to the operation of TCQiGMA, a software specialized in life cycle analysis (LCA) at project level. He will also analyze the main functionalities of the tool, highlighting its importance in the assessment of environmental impacts, and explain how BEDEC acts as a data source to evaluate the environmental effects of the materials and processes modeled.
To conclude, he will detail the methodologies used and how this database allows information to be obtained on sustainability issues.
