The Avintia Group, in collaboration with the Regional Government of Castilla y León, will promote the first City of Industrialization in Spain in Ávila, a project that seeks to take industrialized construction to a new scale. The initiative will be located in the Vicolozano industrial estate and has an investment of more than 45 million euros.

The complex will occupy a plot of more than 120,000 m² and will integrate four factories specializing in different components of industrialized building, as well as a design and training center aimed at developing talent and transferring knowledge. Overall, the project will have the capacity to produce up to 5,000 homes per year through more efficient and controlled processes.

In addition to the industrial impact, the future City of Industrialization will generate more than 300 direct qualified jobs and thousands of indirect jobs linked to industry, logistics, and services.

From a sectoral perspective, initiatives like this exemplify the shift towards more industrialized, scalable, and sustainable models that construction is experiencing. A structural change that connects with the work of the Barcelona ConTech Hub, aimed at promoting technological innovation and supporting companies and startups in the transformation of construction processes.

In this context, projects such as Avintia’s contribute to consolidating a new production model, which is increasingly relevant in response to current housing challenges and as a lever of competitiveness for the sector.
