On Thursday 12 March, Montse Duran, coordinator of ITeC’s Barcelona Contech Hub, had the opportunity to present the ConTech panorama in Spain to the students of the Real Estate 360: Trends, Design and Real Estate Innovation programme, promoted by ESADE of the Ramón Llull University and the Universidad del Pacífico in Peru.

During the session, Montse Duran explained what the Barcelona Contech Hub is and what are the main activities it carries out to promote and accelerate technological innovation in the construction sector, promoting the connection between companies, startups and agents in the ecosystem.

The meeting took place in a close and participatory atmosphere within the framework of a Beer & Meet, where Sofia Maragliano, from Innomads PropTech Hub, as well as our guest startup, Atom Modular, with its founders Ignasi Pérez Arnal and Roger Buxadé, also participated. The event allowed to share experiences and points of view with the students of the program, mainly from Peru and Mexico, generating an enriching dialogue on the challenges and opportunities of innovation in the ConTech and PropTech sectors.

At the Barcelona Contech Hub, we would like to thank David Bros, director of the Real Estate 360 programme at ESADE, for the invitation and the opportunity to create this relaxed space for conversation and exchange. The session was also an opportunity to learn first-hand about the realities of the real estate and technology sector in the countries of origin of the participants, especially Peru and Mexico, and to explore possible points of connection with the innovative ecosystem of our country.
