EVOCONS, a startup member of the Barcelona ConTech Hub, has reached a new historical milestone in the construction sector. From the Arinaga Industrial Zone (Gran Canaria), the company has inaugurated the first building constructed using 3D printing, robotics and artificial intelligence with automated finishes and certified according to the Technical Building Code.

The project, promoted in collaboration with the Agüimes City Council and ECOAGA, has reached a level of automation of 60%, the highest recorded internationally in this type of construction.

All this has been possible thanks to Evoconstructor®, a multifunctional robot developed entirely by EVOCONS and designed specifically for the construction sector. This pioneering technology allows to automate all phases of the construction process, from design to final finishes, with high levels of efficiency, precision and sustainability.

“Today we demonstrate that the transformation of the construction sector is not a distant future, but a reality. With the validation of this project, we are leading a new era of sustainability, efficiency and technology applied to building”, said Daniel Lorenzo, CEO and founder of EVOCONS.

The building, with a surface area of ​​126.45 m², includes a cultural room, changing rooms, toilets and a garden area, all executed using robotic processes. The manufacturing model significantly reduces execution times, minimizes environmental impact and optimizes available resources, establishing a new paradigm in construction.

In addition, EVOCONS is the first company in Spain to achieve a 3D printed construction certified in accordance with current regulations, including the new regulation on additive manufacturing in construction.
