The ConTech sector is taking a new leap forward with the agreement between Procore, one of the Global Partners of the Barcelona ConTech Hub, and NVIDIA, currently one of the most valuable companies in the world, to jointly develop new solutions aimed at building artificial intelligence infrastructures.

The collaboration integrates Procore’s platform with NVIDIA Omniverse, with the goal of creating a continuous digital thread throughout the entire build lifecycle. This integration makes it possible to connect site data with digital environments in real time and move towards faster, safer and more efficient projects.

One of the key elements is the creation of live digital twins, capable of unifying 3D models from multiple BIM and CAD formats in a single, interoperable environment. Through this system, teams can simulate projects before they are built, detect errors in advance and improve the planning and execution of works.

In addition, the incorporation of physical data and asset behavior makes it possible to move towards predictive planning, facilitating real-time decision-making and reducing deviations in costs and deadlines. This approach also opens the door to improvements in safety, through the simulation of complex operations and the training of robotic systems in virtual environments.

At the same time, Procore and NVIDIA are working on the development of artificial intelligence agents capable of proactively identifying and resolving common incidents in projects, such as operational delays or inefficiencies.

This agreement reflects one of the major trends in the sector: the convergence between construction, data and artificial intelligence, with the aim of transforming the way the infrastructures of the future are designed, executed and operated.
