Sorigué’s Venture Capital, Global Partner of the Barcelona ConTech Hub, continues to be committed to technological innovation with an environmental impact. Its investment vehicle, Inclimo Climate Tech, announces the definitive closing of the fund after raising €33.6 million, consolidating its position as a key player in the European climate tech ecosystem.

Launched two and a half years ago in Barcelona, Inclimo Climate Tech specialises in technological solutions aimed at decarbonisation and adaptation to climate change. The fund, promoted by Sorigué, the venture capital firm Antai and Fernando Casado Cañeque, head of the project, has already invested in 13 startups in Spain and other European countries, with a total of 7 million euros committed in the first operations.

Among the companies promoted are Catalan startups such as Ocean Ecostructures, specialized in marine regeneration; Hemav, which applies AI to agriculture; and Recovo, a circular economy platform for the fashion sector. Recently, the fund has also entered the Portuguese photovoltaic technology company BM2 Solar, with co-investments with international funds such as IDB Lab, FJ Labs and IDC Ventures.

The team promoting Inclimo Climate Tech, with Alex Pardo (Sorigué) and Gerard Olivé (Antai), is already planning new investments to expand the portfolio to 23-27 startups, with the active investment period until May 2027. As Casado points out, “closing the fund with €33.6 million in such a volatile environment validates our thesis and demonstrates the enormous transformative potential of the climate tech ecosystem in Europe”.

This closure marks a new starting point for consolidating a portfolio of innovative solutions with a global reach, reinforcing the commitment of Sorigué and its partners to the energy transition and technological sustainability.
