Once again, the Barcelona ConTech Hub has played a prominent role in one of the most relevant events in the ConTech sector in Spain: the Startup Forum that took place within the framework of the REBUILD 2025 Fair. Our participation in this event not only demonstrates the rise and vitality of the ConTech sector, but also the growing consolidation of the ConTech startup ecosystem throughout the country.

Paco Gómez Escofet , participated as a member of the REBUILD Startup Forum jury, where nine innovative startups were presented: Woodea , PhotoKrete , PHENOMENON ROBOTICS , Diip Artificial Intelligence , Dimmensium Labs , WAISENSE , SMARTINCIRCLES , Ablute and Nidus Lab .

All these startups received recognition from several institutions and prominent companies that also acted as members of the Startup Forum Jury: Holcim , KALEIDO, Ideas & Logistics , Zacua Ventures , Ferrovial , World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), Gabriela Cruz , Digital Bricks , GO2S , FADECO Promotores and Molins .

For our part, we recognized the talented startup Phenomenon Robotics , to whom we granted a free one-year membership, an opportunity that will allow them to strengthen and consolidate themselves in the field of the ConTech sector.

In Madrid, our director Paco Gómez Escofet moderated two presentations:

One in the morning on the current state of ConTech in Spain, with the participation of three luxury panelists: Daniel Lorenzo from EVOCONS , Victor Muntés-Mulero from Beawre and Johan Morales from Zubi Capital , where we were also able to present the first report prepared by our ConTech Observatory on the state of the construction startup sector in Spain. In the afternoon, Jacinto Seguí explained his relationship with innovation and startups of a multinational like Finsa , which projects he has led with innovative solutions and which new projects they are undertaking.

At the end of the day, we had the honor of being part of the jury of the startup competition, a moment that brought together several companies from our ecosystem in a setting of talent and innovation. This participation not only highlighted the vitality and strength of our environment, but also symbolized our commitment to fostering the creativity and entrepreneurship that drive the future of technology and construction.
