Last week two of our team members, Pau Coulange and Paco Gómez Escofet, had the pleasure of participating in Zigurat Student Week 2025, an international entrepreneurship and innovation meeting organized by the Zigurat Institute of Technology, with students from all over the world.

On Wednesday, June 18, the Barcelona ConTech Hub hosted a session aimed at Spanish-speaking students, with the aim of helping them define a good business idea within the ConTech sector and prepare a solid and convincing pitch. After working intensively on the development of their proposals, the selected projects were presented on Friday, June 20, in a very special international final.

The event was held in the Sala Magna of the University of Barcelona, ​​with presentations in Spanish, English and Portuguese, in front of a jury made up of representatives of the Ziggurat Institute of Technology and the Barcelona ConTech Hub, made up of Rogério Lima, Bruno Mota, Chris Dymond, Guillermo Corral, Paco Gómez Escofet and Pau Coulange.

In recognition of emerging talent within the Spanish-speaking ConTech ecosystem, the Barcelona ConTech Hub awarded a diploma to the most promising startup and granted it personalized initial mentoring and annual membership to the Hub, to continue accompanying its growth within our ecosystem.
