Paris has been the scene this week of the 2026 Summit of the International ConTech Network (ICN), a meeting that has brought together members, collaborators, and representatives of the main international construction innovation ecosystems to continue promoting the global development of the ConTech movement.

The Barcelona ConTech Hub, promoted by the ITeC Foundation, has actively participated in this international meeting in its capacity as a founding member and general secretaries of the network as part of its Executive Committee. This initiative reinforces the Hub’s commitment to connecting the main innovation ecosystems linked to construction on a global scale.

The event was held at Hilti Venture’s facilities in Paris and served to analyse the main challenges and opportunities currently facing the sector, as well as to define new lines of collaboration between the different hubs, organisations, and agents that are part of the network.

During the day, the director of the Barcelona ConTech Hub, Paco Gómez Escofet, participated in the different working sessions in his role as Secretary General of the International ConTech Network, contributing to the coordination of the initiatives that the network promotes to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and international collaboration within the construction sector.

The meeting highlighted the consolidation of an increasingly global ConTech ecosystem, with a growing presence of startups, investors, corporates, and institutions working together to accelerate the technological transformation of the industry.

The participation of the Barcelona ConTech Hub in this type of international forum reinforces its position as one of the leading players, helping to generate opportunities for startups, companies, and professionals linked to their environment.

Through the International ConTech Network, the Hub continues to work to facilitate the connection between markets, share knowledge, and promote initiatives that allow innovation to scale beyond local borders, consolidating an international community that is already transforming the way of designing, building, and managing the assets of the future.
