Last week, the Barcelona ConTech Hub participated in two of the sector’s leading international events: Contech Connect and the 2026 Summit of the International ConTech Network (ICN), held in Paris and focused on the latest trends in innovation, technology, and transformation in the construction sector.

The Hub was represented by the director, Paco Gómez Escofet, who actively participated in several work sessions, strategic meetings, and networking spaces with startups, corporations, investors, and key agents of the international ConTech ecosystem.

Contech Connect, promoted by Jerome Revy, has established itself as one of the main European meeting points for startups, investors, and companies working to accelerate the digital and technological transformation of the AECO sector. At the same time, the 2026 Summit of the International ConTech Network, an organization of which the Barcelona ConTech Hub serves as General Secretariat, focused on the connection between ecosystems, the scalability of innovative solutions, and international collaboration.

During the meeting, there was also a prominent presence of several companies linked to the Hub’s ecosystem, such as Noosify, Adarcus and Beawre, as well as Finsa’s innovation team, reinforcing the growing role of open innovation and collaboration between startups and corporations.

In addition, the Barcelona ConTech Hub moderated two debate sessions focused on the industrialization and transformation of construction and the challenges and opportunities of the internationalization of European startups, especially towards the American markets.

Participation in these events reaffirms the Barcelona ConTech Hub’s commitment to the international projection of the Catalan and Spanish ConTech ecosystem, as well as to the creation of strategic connections that contribute to accelerating innovation, industrialization and digitization of the construction sector on a global scale.
