On July 3rd, the Barcelona ConTech Hub – ITeC held the ConTech Startup Pitch Day, together with the Chamber of Contractors of Catalonia and Foment del Treball. This event has become the major meeting point for the ConTech ecosystem, demonstrating that construction is experiencing an unprecedented moment of transformation.

Eighteen startups presented their most innovative solutions in a 5-minute pitch format, attracting investors, companies, professionals and key players in the construction sector. During the day, very relevant challenges such as sustainability, digitalization, productivity and labor shortage were addressed, showing the great potential of technology to drive the evolution of the sector.

Photokrete: Develops innovative mortars that reflect sunlight and reduce surface temperatures, contributing to energy savings and cooler urban environments.

Cooling Photonics: Creates passive coatings capable of cooling surfaces up to 35°C without the need for energy, extending the useful life of materials and reducing environmental heat.

Spybee: Reality capture and 3D monitoring platform for construction sites, powered by AI for real-time analysis and monitoring, improving project management and progress control.

Evocons: Prints and builds complete houses in 3D, drastically reducing time, costs and emissions, and opening up new possibilities in industrialized construction.

Buildlovers: Comprehensive platform that manages the entire process of building customized prefabricated homes, from land purchase to turnkey, in an efficient and sustainable manner.

PlasticPeople: Converts plastic waste into useful and recyclable panels and design materials, promoting the circular economy and generating a positive environmental and social impact.

Blue Circular Innovation: Blockchain platform to trace and certify circular economy processes, creating product and waste passports that facilitate transparency and reuse.

Equipzilla: Marketplace that connects professionals to rent equipment and machinery, such as excavators, lifting platforms and tools, promoting efficiency and saving resources.

Brit In Motion: Robot that allows points to be set autonomously on the job site, optimizing time, reducing errors and improving execution precision.

Strong By Form: Develops ultra-lightweight, high-performance wood biocomposites, with the potential to replace traditional materials such as steel and concrete in multiple applications.

Atom Modular: Modular construction solution for mass-produced homes, with standard dimensions that allow for fast, flexible and efficient assembly.

Mezzoteam: Comprehensive platform for managing construction projects, centralizing documentation, work monitoring and financial control, improving coordination between teams.

Aridditive: Specialists in printing concrete parts and construction elements using our own technology, offering precise, sustainable and certifiable solutions.

Indresmat: Develops sustainable thermal insulation based on biopolyurethane, improving the energy efficiency of buildings and reducing the environmental footprint.

SpeedyAI: Uses artificial intelligence to automate key processes in construction, such as the detection of pathologies in infrastructure or the analysis of tenders, accelerating decision-making.

Sustein: Transforms sanitary waste into thermal insulation and recyclable panels, creating circular materials with low environmental impact.

DiipAI: Optimizes construction processes through personalized AI, offering audit, development and implementation solutions adapted to each need.

The ConTech Startup Pitch Day has highlighted the great entrepreneurial and technological talent that exists in our ecosystem.
