The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, through the CDTI, has opened the NEOTEC 2026 call, endowed with 20.38 million euros, with the aim of supporting the creation and consolidation of innovative technology-based companies.

The program is aimed at startups that are less than three years old, with a model based on their own technology and scientific knowledge, and will finance up to 70% of the business plan, with grants that can reach 250,000 euros per project. The deadline for submitting applications will be open from 14 April to 14 May 2026.

Among the main novelties, the maintenance of the NEOTEC Women line stands out, with a specific allocation of 5 million euros for projects led by women, as well as incentives for companies that incorporate research talent, which can raise the intensity of the aid to 85% of the funding.

The call also reinforces the commitment to training with access to international specialized training, with the participation of institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Georgia Enterprise Innovation Institute, aimed at improving the competitiveness and global projection of the beneficiary startups .

The selected projects must start from January 2027 and may have advances of up to 60% of the aid, without the need for guarantees, thus facilitating access to financing in the initial phases.

This new edition of NEOTEC reinforces the role of technological innovation as a driver of business growth and highlights the importance of connecting entrepreneurship, research and funding to promote a more competitive ecosystem.

In this context, initiatives such as NEOTEC represent a clear opportunity for the ConTech ecosystem, where more and more startups are developing solutions based on advanced technology to transform the construction and infrastructure sector.
