On April 8, the Barcelona ConTech Hub, in collaboration with IESE Business School and API Catalunya , organized the session “How to grow and scale your startup by collaborating with large companies” , an event held at the ITeC facilities within the framework of the European program EU-LAC Digital Accelerator .

Aimed at startups in the ConTech and PropTech verticals, the event brought together entrepreneurs in growth phases with the aim of offering them practical tools and strategic knowledge to enhance their scalability through alliances with large corporations.

The session started with an inspiring keynote by Josemaria Siota , Executive Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at IESE, who shared key strategies for structuring effective collaborations between startups and corporates , highlighting good practices and mistakes to avoid in open innovation processes.

Participants were then divided into groups according to the stage of maturity of their projects to participate in an interactive workshop , where they put the concepts learned into practice. Each team worked on their value proposition as if they were presenting it directly to a large company, simulating real situations of collaboration with corporations.

In addition, the IESE team offered specific advice to those startups interested in accessing LATAM, thus supporting the internationalization of technological solutions developed in the ConTech and PropTech ecosystem.
