Progress in the European Assessment Documents
More than 100 European Assessment Documents-EAD have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union in the latest communication from the Commission (2017/C 118/04).
In the published list, there are EADs from 24 different product areas, both for construction works and civil engineering works. There are innovative products and commonly used products which are not covered by a harmonised standard that makes CE marking possible.
EAD are a Regulation (UE) No 305/2011 tool, intended for whatever company, either a SME or a big corporation, that produces construction products not covered by a harmonised standard.
