By Published On: 08/01/2018Categories: Old-EOTA

In the 14th report from ITeC EOTA Office, the main topic is the publication of 9 ETA Guideline conversions to European Assessment Documents in the Official Journal of the European Union, pending clauses to assess dangerous substances requested by the Commission.

ETA Guidelines converted are: ETAG 001 part 5, ETAG 013 -divided in 2
documents-, ETAG 018 parts 2,3 and 4, ETAG 026 parts 2 and 3 and ETAG 029. Since the publication date, these ETA Guidelines have been superseded by the published European Assessment Documents.

These documents are used to assess mechanical fasteners for use in concrete and masonry; post-tensioning kits for prestressing of structures; products and kits for fire protection such as coatings, mortars, boards, penetration and joint seals.

The Reports from ITeC EOTA Office regularly compile information -news with comments- and relevant documents issued at European level, based on EOTA meetings and documents circulated through this organisation.

EOTA is the European Organisation for Technical Assessment dealing with products either not covered by any harmonised standard or deviating from an existing harmonised standard. As a member of EOTA, ITeC participates actively in all levels of this European Organisation.
