The 6^th of May 2024, the first meeting of the Barcelona Contech Hub Advisory Board was held at the ITeC headquarters.

The representatives of the Global Partners of the Hub were present at this meeting (FCC Construcció, Sorigué, Coloma+Armengol, Roig Construccions, Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya-UPC School, Rossell-Giner i Associats, Cots i Claret, Ciments Molins, Saint Gobain, Distriplac), the Management of the ITeC and the Director and the Coordinator of the Hub.

At the meeting, the members of the Advisory Board were introduced, and the Statutes were read and approved, with the Contech Hub Advisory Board formally constituted.

The main functions of the Advisory Board will be to contribute to defining the Hub’s strategic plan to promote its growth and consolidation in the Spanish market, capitalize on new opportunities and strengthen its commitment to excellence in the service provided to its Global partners.

During the first meeting of the Advisory Board, there was a review of the actions taken since its creation in January and the evolution it is having. In the same way, the new planned actions, as well as the new additions and planned agreements, were advanced from the Hub.

However, the desired roadmap for the Contech Hub was presented where all members could make contributions on their vision of the Contech sector and how the Contech Hub can offer solutions to the current needs of the Construction sector from the Contech perspective of all the agents involved who were represented.
