The ITeC and the Gardening Guild of Catalonia have formalized a collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting joint projects, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and promoting innovation in the professional gardening sector.

The agreement establishes a framework for stable cooperation between the two entities to develop activities that arise jointly and contribute to improving the quality, sustainability and digitalisation of the sector.

On the one hand, it includes the participation of ITeC technical staff in Guild working groups, the dissemination of joint activities and the offer of ITeC services under advantageous conditions for the member companies. Pilot projects will also be promoted in urban biodiversity, efficient water management, circular economy and the use of recycled materials, as well as collaboration in European calls.

On the other hand, the Guild will promote the digitization of companies through the BEDEC Bank, participation in innovation programs and the dissemination of ITeC initiatives.

To ensure the smooth running of the agreement, a monitoring committee has been created with representatives of the two entities, in charge of coordinating the actions and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

The Gardening Guild of Catalonia is the benchmark entity for the professional gardening sector in Catalonia. It works to represent, defend and value companies and professionals, promoting training, betting on innovation and promoting strategic initiatives in different areas.

Within the framework of its activity, it organizes the Professional Gardening Forum, which this year will take place on February 26 and 27 in Vall d’en Bas and Olot. The program of this meeting will include a presentation on the publication of the new gardening agreement.
