Registrations for the 82^nd Euroconstruct Conference, which will take place in Barcelona on November 24th and 25th 2016, are open. The event, organised by ITeC, will take place in Ateneu Barcelonès, and will count on the participation of representatives from 19 European countries in order to analyse the situation and forecasts for the construction sector.

The Conference will be opened, on November 25^th, by the Minister of Territory and Sustainability of the Catalan Government, Josep Rull, and will deal with the following:

• The medium-term forecasts (to 2018) for the 19 member economies of Euroconstruct and their construction sectors.
• The key challenges facing the industry
• Key global players and analysts to speak at the conference

The day before (24th), a welcoming and networking dinner will take place in the restaurant Mirador del Palau de la Música, at 8pm.

Euroconstruct is the main network for construction forecasting in Europe. The Euroconstruct conferences are being held, twice a year, since the seventies. In these conferences, short-term forecasts are presented for the main market segments (housing, non-residential buildings, infrastructure and civil engineering, all sub-sectors with a breakdown in new work and renovation activities) in 19 European countries (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and UK).

The conclusions of the Euroconstruct reports are taken into consideration by the main European construction companies and also the investment sector. Euroconstruct conferences bring together all these agents, and the 82nd Euroconstruct Conference in Barcelona will not be an exception.
