The next Euroconstruct conference has already been programmed for next November 23rd and 24th. It will be an opportunity to reassess the degree of affectation of the Covid crisis on the European construction sector. The potential impact of both the New Generation EU programme and the second wave of the pandemic will be better known by the time of the conference, so it will be possible to define with more precision what kind of recovery to expect, how intense it will be and which countries and market niches will have better chances.

In this regard, the conference organisers, IFO Institut, have identified two possible safe havens for the construction sector –the German market and the energy market– and will discuss them in deeper detail.
