  • IoT: As more sites deploy IoT sensors for real-time data, our platform serves as a repository for insights that enable data-driven decisions.
  • AR/VR and Robotics: Although we’re not developing these tools directly, by centralising project data, we pave the way for easier integration with visualisation technologies and automated scheduling formats.
  • Offsite Manufacturing and Data Analytics: Our pre-construction and project management tools coordinate offsite manufacturing through schedule and delivery tracking. Our dashboards and reporting systems also lay the foundation for more predictive planning strategies.

4. Can you share an example of how your software has improved efficiency or productivity in construction projects?

Procore significantly increases efficiency and productivity in construction projects, delivering measurable ROI:

  • Centralised Data with CDEs: Procore’s Common Data Environment keeps all project information in one accessible place, reducing errors and rework. Projects stay on schedule and within budget, improving ROI by cutting costs related to delays and mistakes.
  • Proactive Planning with BIM: Teams can visualise and plan projects virtually before physical construction begins, minimising costly delays and unforeseen expenses.
  • Rapid Estimations via BOQ Software: The Bill of Quantities tool automates estimations, providing quick and accurate cost assessments, letting contractors respond to more bids and boost revenue.
  • Quality Assurance with FieldView: By analysing site data, FieldView prevents recurring quality issues, improving outcomes and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Overall Efficiency: According to Procore’s ROI report, customers save an average of 15 days on project schedules, yielding significant financial benefits and enabling teams to adapt quickly to changing needs.

5. How does PROCORE ensure that its technological solutions remain updated and relevant in a constantly and exponentially evolving market?

At Procore, we keep our solutions current by closely listening to users and monitoring industry trends. We regularly roll out features like the 10-4 tendering function and AI tools and agents that make previously laborious processes more efficient. We’re also looking at deeper BIM scheduling integrations for the future. Serving as a central hub, our platform easily connects to the latest tech – IoT, AR/VR, and robotics – while maintaining accessible, high-quality data. We use an agile approach, so our products stay relevant and adapt quickly to market changes, ensuring that our customers remain ahead of the curve.

6. What are the main cultural or structural barriers within construction companies to adopting new technologies in terms of digitalisation? How do you usually address and mitigate these resistances in your consulting processes?

One major barrier is resistance to change. Experienced professionals often rely on traditional methods, believing that “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” There can also be a disconnect between office and site staff, each viewing technology differently. Disparate systems and siloed teams make people wary of new digital tools.

At Procore, we overcome these hurdles by showing quick wins – like real-time reporting and streamlined processes – to demonstrate the value of digital solutions. We offer tailored training for everyone, from leadership to on-site crews, so they understand how these tools simplify their roles. By building trust in data and standardising processes, we create a collaborative environment that embraces technology. We often start with pilot projects and scale up after success, empowering early adopters to become champions of digitalisation.

7. How does your company address the training and development of digital skills in professionals in the construction sector?

At Procore, we focus on equipping construction professionals with the digital skills they need:

  • Procore Training Center: Free courses to help users maximise our software’s benefits.
Certification Programs: Validate competencies and encourage smarter, more efficient work.
  • Community Engagement: Through procore.org, we partner with universities to integrate tech training into construction curricula, preparing future leaders for digital tools.
  • Women in Construction Initiative: We support women with mentorship, networking, and digital-skills-focused workshops.
  • Collaborative Learning: Workshops and seminars keep both veterans and newcomers current on the latest tech challenges and solutions.

At Procore, we’re not just about software; we’re about creating a community where everyone -regardless of background- can grow and innovate in the construction space.

8. From your perspective, how is the profile of construction professionals changing due to digital transformation? What skills are now essential, and how are companies preparing for this transition?

Digital transformation is redefining the role of construction professionals. Traditional hands-on experience now pairs with digital and technical skills. Familiarity with sector-specific software, data interpretation, and virtual collaboration is increasingly vital.

Companies are responding by investing in targeted training, adopting integrated platforms, and recruiting digitally savvy talent. They’re also establishing digital transformation teams to drive system adoption. The result is a more efficient, data-driven, and collaborative industry where everyone contributes to ongoing innovation.

9. What initiatives has your company taken to foster a culture of innovation and digitalisation among its employees and partners?
