The Plenary Session of the Board of Trustees held last Friday, November 28, 2025 marks an important step for the ITeC: the Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia joins the Board of Trustees for the first time. This post reinforces the collaboration with the local world and consolidates the shared commitment to innovation and sustainability in construction.

The presence of the Federation opens a new stage in the relationship with the municipalities, providing a key vision to move towards a more efficient, responsible sector that is close to the needs of the territory.

In addition to this incorporation, the Plenary approved changes in the representation of entities that are already part of the Board of Trustees, with the appointment of new representatives:

• Mrs. Elisabet Cirici Amell, Director General of Spatial Planning and Urban Planning of the Generalitat de Catalunya
• Il·ltre. Mr. Ricard Nogués Parra, new Dean of the College of Graduate Engineers and Industrial Technical Engineers of Barcelona
• Il·lm. Mr. David Bote Paz, President of the Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia
• Mr. Lluís Dalmau Arbós, Head of the Area of Implementation of Property Management and Support Services of the Directorate General of Heritage of the Generalitat de Catalunya
• Mrs. Elena Fernández Salas, Vice-Rector for Architecture and Sustainable Development of the Campuses of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya

With these additions and renewals, the Board of Trustees consolidates its role as a governing and representative body, integrating key players from the public, academic and professional sectors.
