Sustainable EnErgy Skills in construction: Visible, Validated, Valuable
CONTEXT
- A study by the European Commission (BuildUpSkills) detects gaps in training. These needs are identified, a sheet is written and more than 800 courses are taken.
- Lack of an international approach to mutual recognition of national energy achievements.
- Importance of ICT to disseminate and raise awareness about solutions.
- The learning process is without formal recognition and without significant reflection in the national qualification frameworks – NQF.
CHALLENGE
- Challenge market acceptance and act to stimulate demand for energy skills in construction.
- Use information and communication technologies (ICT) to disseminate and promote the delivery of training courses and accelerate the process of digitalisation of the construction sector.
- Facilitate greater visibility and accessibility of energy skills and enable their mutual recognition at European level.
- Support legislative changes that will stimulate the demand for sustainable energy skills.
- Increase the number of qualified building professionals.

- Create the concept of the integrated database
- Provide the database of materials to be integrated
