For a few months now, ITeC has been immersed in the development of the ENERurb project, coordinated by the Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia (CEEC). PACI Global, BIS211 and Novaltra are the other collaborating partners.

The project focuses on promoting the automated energy analysis of buildings on an urban scale, with the aim of accelerating energy renovation, reducing costs and generating new business opportunities for the sector.

The initiative stems from the need to overcome the limitations of current energy diagnosis processes, which are often expensive and difficult to scale. ENERurb will develop an integrated system that allows initial energy diagnoses to be carried out in an automated way based on cadastral data and advanced digital tools, applicable to islands and complete urban environments.

ITeC contributes its experience with its ESPREH web platform, which will be adapted to operate on an urban scale. With this integration, it will be possible to carry out more precise calculations and generate proposals for energy improvement in an automated way.

ENERurb has an expected duration of 11 months and is funded within the framework of Line 2 of grants for cooperative projects of ACCIÓ clusters.
