On 27 and 28 May, ITeC hosted the General Assembly of the European project SIRCULAR, a meeting that brought together the different partners to review the progress made and plan the next actions.

During the two days, the team responsible for each work package presented the activities carried out so far, the milestones achieved and the action plan planned for the coming months.

ITeC played a prominent role in the conference, presenting the progress of the work package dedicated to the implementation of the demonstrators and the state of the Spanish pilot. This space allowed us to share experiences with the rest of the partners and discuss strategic issues.

Beyond the technical sessions, the participants had the opportunity to visit the exhibition The Resource City, an initiative that aims to raise awareness about the impact of the construction sector on the environment and show examples of circular architecture carried out where this impact has been minimized.

In addition, they were also able to enjoy a guided tour of the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, an activity that favored the exchange of knowledge and the strengthening of collaboration between the members of the consortium.

The General Assembly concluded with a session of synthesis and definition of the next steps, reaffirming the partners’ commitment to the development of innovative solutions that contribute to accelerating the transition towards a more circular, efficient and sustainable construction sector.
