ITeC represents the Homeskin Project in Brussels

The next 5th and 6th of November, ITeC will participate in two conferences organized by AMANAC-Advanced Material and Nanotechnology Cluster in Brussels, representing the Homeskin Project, which aims to develop a new silica Advanced Aerogel-Based Composite material , to bring to the market new insulation technologies that do not only possess a very high thermal insulation performance but also are thinner, lighter, non-flammable, and with lower CO2 and VOC emissions.

These Conferences are open to participation of members from different European projects in the area of advanced materials and nanotechnology.

Homeskin project

The Homeskin project is funded by the European innovation and research programme with the highest budget in history, Horizon 2020, which will finance projects through competitive calls open during the period 2014-2020.

The main role of ITeC in this project is the identification of the technical and obligatory requirements at a European level which are relevant for the products and uses expected, and the orientation of the innovation and development process to accomplish these requirements.
