MATERTalk Reconstruct: Building from circularity, at the FAD
On February 25, at 6:30 p.m., the Foment de les Arts i del Disseny (FAD) will host the session Reconstruct or how to build from circularity.
The presentation will be part of the European RECONSTRUCT project and will be given by Licinio Alfaro, Head of the Sustainable and Efficient Construction area of ITeC and Director of the Reconstruct project, who will talk about the full-scale demonstration buildings of the initiative and the different strategies they follow (use of low-impact materials, recovered components and design for dismantling).
The meeting will also address key concepts for professionals: material traceability, material passports, building life cycle planning and the role of digital tools as a support for decision-making in the project phase. The aim is to offer clear, understandable criteria that are applicable to the daily practice of technical teams.
