New CAdIC session to move towards more sustainable and circular infrastructures
On 13 May, the Palau Macaya will host the presentation of the document “Infrastructures and Circular Economy”, organised by the Infrastructure Advisory Council of Catalonia (CAdIC).
The session was born with the aim of deepening the content of document number 16 of the CAdIC, focused on the application of the principles of the circular economy in the design, construction and management of infrastructures.
In a context in which infrastructures consume a significant part of the planet’s resources, the aim is to make people reflect on the need to make them more durable, repairable and reusable, proposing solutions to transform the sector towards a more sustainable model.
The programme has the participation of professionals from the administration and the private sector, who will contribute their experience on how to promote this paradigm shift in the management and planning of the territory.
Francisco Diéguez, Director General of ITeC, will participate as moderator of the round table, where Gloria DÃez, Head of the Circular Economy Area of ITeC, will also be present.
Day: Wednesday, 13th May 2026
Time: From 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Place: Palau Macaya (Pg. de Sant Joan, 108, L’Eixample, 08037 Barcelona)
