On October 1st, POCITYF officially kicked off with a consortium of 46 members from 13 countries and led by EDPL. ITeC is one of the partners.

The cities of Evora (PT) and Alkmaar (NL) and their Fellow cities Granada (ES), Bari (ΙΤ), Celje (SI), Ujpest (HU), Ioannina (GR) and Hvidovre (DK) will be supported to obtain positive energy blocks and improve their mixed urban environment. By demonstrating in overall 10 integrated solutions, POCITYF quantifies their value, and connects interests of many different stakeholders in innovative business models.

POCITYF (A Positive Energy City Transformation Framework) aims to transform and add layers of smartness in key city infrastructures, technologies and services (i.e. buildings, energy grid, e-mobility). It will also form an open collaborative ecosystem towards improving citizens’ quality of life, innovation and sustainability at district and city level.
