The La Volta project is integrated into the European MEZeroE program
On June 18, the COAC headquarters in Barcelona hosted the presentation of La Volta , an innovative project that consists of the construction of a large pergola with a Catalan vault in the Llars Mundet area.
This structure will become a new architectural and tourist reference for the city of Barcelona: a large-scale umbrella that takes advantage of the refreshing effect of the pitcher to improve the climatic comfort of the public space.
La Volta has recently been integrated into the European MEZeroE program, funded by the European Union, and will function as a Living Lab through the installation of the Flexbrick construction system with photovoltaic capture.
Glòria DÃez, representing ITeC —partner of the European project— attended the event, led by Sandra Bestraten, president of the Barcelona Demarcation of the COAC.
