From November 5 to 7, the Gran Via site of Fira de Barcelona will host a new edition of the Smart City Expo World Congress.

The goal of the event is to promote urban innovation worldwide and provide solutions for cities to address the critical challenges they face today. At the same time, it also has the mission of presenting an urban paradigm towards green, efficient and prosperous cities that leave no one behind.

At ITeC we are committed to innovation and, for this reason, we will be present during the three days. You can find us at stand number 145.

In 2022, the Mantenim Circular project was launched, thanks to the joint work of ITeC and the Catalan Waste Agency. The main objective of this initiative is to give a second life to products and materials in the construction sector. Without wanting to compete with any market, Mantenim Circular aims to connect the available databases with the circularity potential of existing materials.

The Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a tool that centralizes information on the life cycle of a product: origin, composition, sustainability and recyclability. It facilitates transparency, promotes the circular economy and helps comply with regulations, improving resource management. Within the Reconstruct project, the ITeC develops the DPPs for the innovative materials and products developed during the project.
