The ISO 9001 standard establishes the requirements that an organization must meet in order to have an effective quality management system, aimed at continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Broadly speaking, this internationally recognised standard focuses on the optimisation of work processes and the application of methodologies that guarantee both organisational efficiency and the quality of the services provided.

ITeC has renewed its ISO 9001 certification until 2029. The new certificate, issued by Applus, guarantees the efficiency and quality of its management in the research, design and development of technology-based products and services aimed at the construction sector.

Here are all the activities for which ITeC is certified:

• Databases (BEDEC Bank of construction work items): Bank with information on Prices, Specifications, Environmental Regulations and Data, Quality Control and Health and Safety Criteria, BIM Objects, Banks of Entities, Bank of Companies, Bank of Regulations, Bank of Maintenance, Register of Materials and CE Marking.
• ICT: TCQ/TCQi – Methodology and computer application for the management of the construction process throughout the life cycle: design, execution, delivery and maintenance (Time, Cost, Quality, Sustainability, and Health and Safety), included in BIM environments.
• Evaluation of Construction Products and Systems: (ATE, DAU) and Activities (ApTO).
• Control body: Certification and verification activities of proof of performance (CE marking) and verification activities of environmental product declarations.
• Training in the field of construction technology and methodologies: ITeC, BIM, Lean and sustainability tools.
• Consultancy and implementation of sustainability, digitalisation, built heritage and market analysis processes in the construction sector.
• Technical advisory activities for startups and innovative companies in the construction sector: ConTech Hub and ITeC Impulsa Programme.
