LIUZHOU OVM MACHINERY CO LTD has been granted the ETA 26/0277 for its kit OVM.M15WT PT
LIUZHOU OVM MACHINERY CO LTD has been granted the ETA 26/0277 for its post-tensioning kit OVM.M15WT PT used in wind towers.
The OVM.M15WT PT System for Wind Towers, created by LIUZHOU OVM MACHINERY CO LTD, is used to anchor tensile elements, keeping them in a tensioned state by means of wedges and anchorage heads with conical holes, thereby transmitting the prestressing forces to the concrete or structural elements.
In wind towers, active anchorages are placed in concrete, and passive anchorages are placed in concrete or in the steel structure of the wind tower nacelle.
The post-tensioning system ranges from 4 to 37 strands, and comprises the following components:
- Tendon: external tendon (4 to 37 tensile elements); the tensile elements are made of 7 wire prestressing steel strands, individually greased and sheathed.
- Anchorage of the prestressing steel strands with ring wedges.
- Deviators made of steel and rubber.
- Sheaths.
- Ducts and guiding devices.
- Bursting reinforcement to provide confinement to the concrete elements.
The ETA 26/0277 has been issued in accordance to EAD 160004-00-0301 Post-tensioning systems for prestressing of structures, and evaluates the mechanical resistance and stability of the OVM.M15WT PT System, comprising resistance to static loads and fatigue, the capacity to transfer loads to the structure, and friction losses as the main elements of the assessment, as well as its corrosion protection and reaction to fire performance.
