Recently, the tender announcement of the new Framework Agreement for building works for local entities in Catalonia, a contracting tool promoted by the Catalan Association of Municipalities (ACM), has been published.

It will be valid for the period 2026-2028, with the possibility of being extended for up to two more years, and aims to offer city councils and local authorities an agile, efficient and safe system for contracting this type of work. A fundamental part of this procurement system is the participation of companies in the tendering of the Framework Agreement.

The ACM has scheduled an online information session to be held on February 11, at 11 a.m.

The meeting is open to all kinds of construction companies, including companies that rehabilitate, demolition, asbestos removal and other activities related to the sector, and aims to explain the operation of the Framework Agreement and resolve doubts about the bidding process.

Currently, the ACM is the benchmark municipal entity in Catalonia, with more than a thousand associated local entities, and with all the Catalan municipalities integrated into the entity.
