BIM , which stands for Building Information Modeling, has revolutionized the construction sector. It is a collaborative work system that centralizes the information generated by the different agents during the life cycle of a work, obtaining a global and evolutionary view of the building process.

Haven’t made the move to BIM yet? The ITeC organizes a second edition of the introductory BIM course on the last two Mondays of January. The training is aimed at technicians and professionals in the sector without prior knowledge of BIM, but interested in having a first contact with the aforementioned methodology.

With Ferran Bermejo , Technical Director, and Maria Elena Pla , BIM Development Manager, both from ITeC, you will learn in two sessions the basic concepts, processes and tools that are transforming construction. The goal is not to model, but to introduce you to the dynamics of the system and help you acquire the key knowledge to speed up your project.

You must attend with your own laptop, mouse and the BIM VISION program previously installed. The software is free and you can download it here .
