ITeC provides its knowledge and experience in construction regulations and in BIM methodologies and tools (BIM libraries and software in the cloud) to ensure a proper operation of the new Accord tools.

The publication of the EN ISO 19650 standard on how information should be managed in construction sites using BIM caused some concern in among the companies that were implementing these methods. The Spanish chapter of BuildingSMART and ITeC coordinated the drafting of an introductory guide to this regulation, explaining how it affects the organization and digitalization of the information shared by the different project actors, the potential benefits and how it fits with Lean Construction.

The TSO have been verified according to a specific methodology making sure that they meet the concession contract terms, that they are up to date, that they match the actual building and its intended use, that the items to upkeep are properly defined and the schedule of operations complies with the codes and regulations.
