AF SEAL W is a water-based ablative acrylic sealant used to reinstate the resistance to fire performance of a constructive element where it is penetrated by small size plastic pipes and cables, for the following types of constructive elements: flexible lightweight walls or rigid walls (of concrete or masonry) and rigid floors (such as concrete floors).

AF SEAL W is also intended for use as an ancillary component in the multiple fire penetration seals of the company AF Systems (as given in ETA 16/0733 for AF BAGS, ETA 16/0771 AF MULTICOLLAR, ETA 16/0772 for AF COLLAR C, ETA 16/0891 for AF COLLAR, ETA 19/0664 for AF SLEEVE, ETA 21/0580 for AF BRICK and ETA 22/0853 for AF PANEL), as well as an ancillary component in the fire linear joint seals (as given in ETA 19/0096 for AF JOINT and  ETA 21/0717 for AF PANEL). The individual CE marking of all these components of the fire seal system is basic to ensure the performance of the assembled technical solution.

AF SEAL W is intended for a working life of 25 years in the environmental conditions as defined for use category Type Y2,(-10/+70)ºC: intended for semi-exposed use at temperatures below 0°C, without exposure to rain or UV.

The assessment in ETA 23/0951 has been done according to EAD 350454-00-1104 Fire stopping and fire sealing products – Penetration seals.
